ID: wk 35 - Card - Making Spirits
Bright On Arches 90# HP W/C paper drew my circles and lettered the text with a 2.4 Parallel pen filled with Ecoline "Scarlet" and double dipped into Pearlescent "Genesis Green" acrylic ink. Detailed with a black Micron pen. Circles with an Artistro Extra Fine Pen in a green and a red. The leaves in the border and center done with Artistro Brush pens. Graphite shading Trimmed down, cut out the scallop corners with a 3/4" circle punch, edged with a Artistro gold brush pen and adhered to a textured dark green cardstock. ID: Wk 36 - John Neito - Success On Arches Textwove paper using a 4.5 Parallel pen and Vermillion Sumi ink in Neuland style lettering. Colored between the letters with Artistro paint pens. Accented one side of each letter with a micron pen. Words: Success is peace of mind in knowing you did your best. John Wooden

ID: Wk 37 - Calligraphy Love -
Calligraphy Makes My Heart Happy On Arches Textwove paper, sprinkled with Color Burst powders (Lemon Yellow, Rose Red) and Brusho "Ost Blue", wrote out the words with a 6.0 Parallel pen and water in Blackletter style. Detailed with a black Micron pen and drew circles with my Helix Circle ruler and gold gel pen. Words: Calligraphy Makes My Heart Happy. |

Everything Size: 11"w x 8.5"h This is one of those times I don't have a hard copy of my work. I wrote out the text and then inserted it into Photoshop on top of my workroom pic... Now if only I could follow the quote... |

ID: Wk 39 - Ode To Joy - We Cannot Cure On Stratmore Ready Cut140# CP watercolor paper created my white lines with Fineliner Masking Fluid Pen 0.8 tip. When dry, sprinkled Brusho powders (Yellow, Scarlet, Leaf Green & Lt Brown) and painted with a wet paintbrush. Wrote in the quote using a .05 Micron pen. Words: We cannot cure the world of sorrow, but we can choose to live in joy. Joseph Campbell |
