On Bee Super Deluxe paper, double dipped my Simply Simon #6 Chisel paint brush into W/N watercolors Transparent Yellow and Alizarin Crimson and wrote my main words in a kind of Bone style lettering. The rest of the song words with a black Zig Writer in Akim style. Added graphite and paper stump shadow.

Lyrics:
I just called to say I love you
I just called to say I care (missing the words "how much")
I just called to say I love you
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart.

On Grafix white opaque Craft Plastic applied my alcohol inks (Copic Holiday Blue, Ultramarine and Adirondack Raspberry), dropped in a lot of 99% alcohol and tilted and shifted my paper to get a nice sky effect... When dry added the Adirondack Pitch Black on either sides and moved it around with a palette knife to get a craggy mountain effect.

When dry used a Sharpie fine point to write out the text. The added a couple birds in the sky...

Haiku:

Seek on high bare trails
Sky Reflecting Violets
Mountain-top Jewels

I'm an addict when it comes to postage stamps... I usually buy the newest Canadian stamps when they are issued including the souvenir sheets... I will never use them all in my life time... but I love having the choices when I'm designing an envelope or something. The only stamps I stay away from are SPORTS. ugh.

This binder holds hundreds and hundreds of usable stamps.

I'm using Columbia Mills LBS End Paper, which folds nicely, has a good weight and is sturdy. My folds are 2" making it a 1" loop flap.

I used an unknown black cardstock for the covers. My text and quotes are written with a Nikko G nib and Holbien "Permanent White" gouache.

On the cover: I am an addict

Inside left side: Be like a postage stamp, stick to one thing till you get there. Josh Billings

Inside Right Side: The most interesting thing about a postage stamp is the persistence with which it sticks to the job. Napoleon Hill

On 110#Staples white cardstock drew my circles and wrote the quote with a 3.0 Parallel pen and Sumi ink in Blackletter style. Colored in the negative areas. Wrote the word "Free" with a Pentel Color brush pen
