This is another piece I created for our Guild's next Journal with the theme "The Heart of The Matter".

Drew  a large heart using Spellbinder's "Classic Hearts" die set on Staples white 110# cardstock.

Wrote my Latin text using a 2.4 Parallel Pen and Sumi ink in a funky Neuland style.

The inside English text done with a black Zig Writer both the fine tip and the bullet tip in monoline. Added black dots to the letters.

The outside heart section done using Prisma colored pencils to outline the heart shape and coloring in red and white, blending with a Lyra Splender Blender. White gel pen dots added.

The "Heart" word has gold gel pen detail.

Used the Spellbinder's heart to sponge some Distress "Barn Door" around the edges.
