Brusho - Mere Color Created: June 4,
2023 I'm scheduled to pick Scribbled Lives challenge for June 29th. This was my 1st attempt...but wasn't that happy with it, so created a 2nd piece. On Fabriano 1264 CP W/C paper using some dirty water and a round brush wrote out the letters - one at a time and dropped in Brush powders (yellow, turquoise and brilliant red). Let the colors merge a bit then blotted to remove all water. When done, dried and added a black Glitter outline, leaving a tiny white river, then added a shadow with a Zig Writer. Added a white highlight. Words written with the glitter pen in a stretched letter style. words: Mere color unspoiled by meaning and unallied with definite form can speak to the soul in a thousand different ways.
