"Black Magic #2"
Calligraphy: The ribbon
was painted with Pearl-ex duo red/blue and mixed with gold sparkle and
gum arabic and outlined with a mix of white and magenta gouache on
black Stonehenge paper. The letter in the ribbon is blackletter, first
inked in with FW black ink and then with Pearl-ex duo red/blue and gum
arabic and outlined with FW black. The words Black Magic is pink ultra
fine pastel glitter adhered using a glue pen. everything was then
sprayed with two coats of Krylon Crystal Clear.
(Needless to say the contrast between sparkles, Pearl-ex, gouache and ink is lost in the scanning.) Mat: Black mat
white inner core.
