This week's challenge was to alter something in any way we chose. So here's another card. Cards are always so useful

ID: CBH June 24 - Altered - Thoreau

I had made a background on white 65# cardstock using Pan Pastels (Orange, Hansa Yellow, Touch of Permanent Red, Bright Yellow Green Shade, & some Burnt Sienna) applied with the Pan Pastel makeup sponges and wiped with a tissue to blend. Misted the paper with water and used a Rollagraph Border leaf pattern using Adirondack Rainbow dye ink (Winter Sky). So when rolled on the misted paper it softly bled and became a muted background.   When dry, ran it through a wavy paper crimper, then rubbed Metallic Rub Ons "Copper" on the high points. Mounted this to a piece of The Paper Co "Cypress" Collection "Light Ivy" cardstock. Mounted this to the yellow cardstock. The yellow is from the same package and ran it through my Cuttlebug using the "Script" embossing folder then used the Metallic Rub Ons in a couple of the green colors and some copper. Mounted this to my main brown card (also from the same cardstock collection). Glued on the two skeleton leaves using Diamond Glaze. Rubber stamped my quote (Quietfire Design "Every Blade of Grass") using Staz-On Olive on a piece of green Vellum and glued it to the card with the Diamond Glaze.
