Size: 7.5"w x 4.25"h This week's challenge was to use Versamark which is a a multi surface chalk ink stamp pad. Again I needed a thank you card. I took a piece of single folio cream paper from Columbia Mills and passed my Versamark dewdrops stamp pad in semi circles starting in one corner and going to about half the page and then starting from another corner until they met. I used Mango Madness, Pumpkin Spice, Tea Leaves, in that order. I then scrunched up the paper several times unfolding it each time. After the last scrunch, I swiped the Jumbo Java over the high wrinkled areas.. I flattened out my paper and ironed it. There were still lots of wrinkles in the paper and I passed a Brilliance Gold stamp pad over those high areas, then embossed it with Queen's Gold. I punched out lower case letters using my Sizzix alphabet set. I used the negative portions for the "h" & "k" and for the other four letters I cut out a shadow letter in some scrap paper I had laying around. I glued these letters to a large patterned purplish scrap book paper, then onto some Bazzill monochromatic pale purple cardstock then onto the main dark purple value cardstock. |
