Size: 9"h x 4"w This week's challenge was to use the color Green in any way we chose.

ID: CBH Apr22 - HB Card |
I started out
doing a background technique called
Luminous Marble from
a wonderful
book called Paper Transformed by Julia Andrus.
You can see some of the green in that background. I then used a crackle
stamp using black stamp pad and detail black embossing powder. Rubber
stamped my leaf sprig (a set by Heidi Grace "Marina Dr") with
Inkadinkado opaque white and detail white embossing powder. Trimmed it
and inserted it into another piece of black cardstock that I had corner
punched opposite corners. Adhered that to a green pearlized cardstock
which I had used my Coluzzle template to make the tag section. Punched a
hole in the tag section and tied on a bunch of fibres. The main car is a
matching green to the pearlized color. I found a piece of marbled paper
that blended with all the colors I used. The upper copper textured paper
is a pearlized copper cardstock that I ran through my Cuttlebug, then
used some Rub On's over the high areas. Adhered my tag then attached a
piece of pale green vellum with the two salmon colored flower brads.
Added my calligraphic Peel Offs Happy Birthday.
NOTE: These and other Peel Offs are my
calligraphic word sentiments on the "Elizabeth Craft Design" labels.
There are 6 styles
available at the moment with another 5 to be available mid May/08. They
come in four different colors (gold, silver, black, and white); "Thank You",
"It's a Boy, It's a Girl", "You're
Invited" Congratulations" "Happy Birthday &
"Love". The five for May are;
"Friends", "Thinking of You", "Xmas
Seasonal", "Xmas" & Happy Anniversary" |
