October 4/11 "Oval dies - Home"

This weeks theme is Oval or Square dies

I've used a quote stamp from Quietfire Design.
I die cut the Spellbinders birdcage from white cardstock, direct to paper with Pumice Stone and faded Jeans, clear embossed.

I sponged Distress Scattered Straw & forest Moss through a Crafter's Workshop stencil for the branches and the yellow bird, as well as the chain.

I die cut a Spellbinder's oval from some scrap cardstock and used it like a stencil. Layered on my birdcage. Stamped the quote with Vintage Sepia & some Black Onyx.

Adhered several pieces of colored tissue I had laying around onto some cardstock with a glue stick, dried it, then punched out the leaf shapes. Adhered them in a pleasing arrangement.

Sponged some Scattered Straw and Marigold around the edges of the card.
