October 25/11  "Tag Dies"

This week's theme is Halloween or Tag Dies

I've used two of the latest Halloween stamps from Quietfire Design.

I started with the apple sprig (Flourishes "Apple of my Eye" set #SS129) on cheap watercolor paper, painted with Daniel Smith watercolors. Added a very thin coating of Glossy accents on the apples. Cut them out.

I then created the left hand border (Spellbinders "Lattice") using my hard rubber hammer on white cardstock, staying away from the end edges, so I could repeat the design for the length of my card. Swiped a Distress pad "Antique Linen" over it and embossed with JudiKins "Rustique Tin Can". Adhered to my white card and trimmed off the excess.

Die cut the frame (Spellbinders "Classic Frame") from white cardstock, sponged Barn Door through the openings, embossed with the Rustique Tin, then lightly sponged the Antique Linen on the rest of the frame. Stamped the sentiment on the dropped out piece with Versafine Black Onxy, clear embossed, sponged Barn Door and Dusty Concord around the edges. Adhered both to card.

Sprayed card with black webbing. Wrote in the words "Just for you" with a black micron pen.

Cut off the upper section of the apple sprig (a bunch of blossoms) and adhered to card. Punched out the spider (Punch Bunch) from black cardstock, adhered to card, added a layer of Glossy Accents, sprinkled a bit of black Ritz micro fine glitter.

Stamped my Bugs sentiment with the versafine black on white cardstock, die cut the tag (Spellbinders "Fancy Tags"), sponged Spiced Marmalade and adhered the left end only. It stands slightly away from the card. Added two black rhinestone squares.
