Created: October 17, 2011 I had a fun play time using my watercolors. Its been a while since I've really done that. See below for the full sheet which I then cut up... I've used all the Textured Word stamps set from Quietfire Design. |
| I painted the circles in the background on Canson cheap watercolor paper, first drawing them in with a pencil then going over them with a Papermate Eraser Mate and embossing with Gold embossing powder, then adding details in some of them and painting them with Daniel Smith watercolors. When I cut them apart, I then embellished them more by rubber stamping, adding glitter or iridescent medium, jewels etc. |
For the card I started with a white main card, layered with a beautiful off white metallic embossed leaf pattern. Cut my creamy metallic snake skin patterned paper with a Spellbinders Label 21 die, then used the outside of the die to cut my green metallic paper. Layered them together, then on to the card. Adhered the balls. Stamped the words with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed it. Added the green half pearls and some rhinestones in the balls.

I forgot to take a pic of it before I cut it up and I had already started on one of the ATCs, so you can see some of my cut lines... I pasted it back together so I could scan it. |
