This weeks theme is Stencils.

I love this stencil by Lynell Harlow #LJ896. Now I could have gone the traditional way and added embossing paste, but decided to put it through my embossing machine. I first inked up the surface of the stencil with Distress Dusty Concord, lay my cardstock carefully on top and made my machine's sandwich. I immediately clear embossed the surface. I love the textural/granular look of the embossing. I trimmed it down and layered it onto to a heavy textured bright rose metallic cardstock, then on to my main white, side folded card which I embossed with the Happy Birthday folder.

I stamped the sentiment  (Quietfire Design.) with pigment ink and embossed with Detail White. trimmed and rounded the corners.

As a final detail I added rose toned rhinestones and the two mauve rhinestones.
