Created: December, 2011 This week's theme is to use Star dies or Light I'm using a sentiment from last year's Xmas stamps and one of the newest Xmas stamps from Quietfire Design. |

I die cut each size of star
(Spellbinders "Stars Five") and sponged Distress Iced Spruce on them,
then used the die and sponged more Spruce, embossed with Northern Lights
(The Stamp Barn) embossing powder. Sponged the backs with the Spruce as
well. Folded an easel card from white cardstock, inked up the negative side of the embossing folder (Cuttlebug "Mistletoe") with Distress Black Soot and ran through the machine. Adhered the stars, this way and that sticking them together with some double sided tape. Stamped the sentiment on some white cardstock with Versafine Black Onyx and trimmed down to fit. Adhered a piece of grey/pink metallic paper (my wrapping paper stash from a while back) edge to edge. Stamped the quote with the Black Onyx, trimmed down and adhered to center of floor. Added 3 medium sized rhinestone stars in a bright pink, light pink and a clear. Adhered a large rhinestone crystal star on the tope of the star stack. |
