"Silver - Seasons Greetings" card
I slightly altered this stamp by
removing the flourishes on the word - normally I love keeping them on,
but this time the sentiment needed to be a bit smaller. And I used one
of the smaller fourish stamps from the Flourish set. Both by Quietfire
Design. |
I used the silver, adhesive backed tape you find in the plumbing or electrical departments. Love that stuff. Ran it through my Cuttlebug with the Holly Ribbons folder #37-1927, then dribbled alcohol inks (Citrus, Butterscotch, Raisin, Pesto, Mountain Rose) on it and lightly pounced with my felt. Trimmed it down and cut out 4 squares, mounted to a charcoal metallic cardstock. Ran a silver metallic cardstock through the Cuttlebug with Kassie's Brocade folder #2000215. Layered that to a two toned burgundy/Light Grey main card. The ornament was stamped with the sentiment and clear embossed, cut with a Spellbinders Circle die, dry embossed, sponged colors with Distress stamp pads (Crushed olive & Peeled Paint), stamped the flourish keeping the die in place and clear embossed. Adhered it to card, and adhered a gold string, then tied a nice bow with a Burgundy gauze gold glittered flourish ribbon. |
