"Xmas - Napkin Blessed" card This weeks theme is Xmas. So I'm still loving all the recent dies & the latest rubber stamps I purchased from Quietfire Design. The background is the 2nd layer (the colors are muted) of an Xmas napkin I picked up at Superstore (a large grocery chain). I just glue sticked it to a main white card. I wanted wrinkles and tattered edges. I did cut Tim's tree from white cardstock and colored with Distress greens and added Jones Tones glue on the tree branches then sprinkled with Ritz Micro Fine glitter in Stardust and Cool Highlights for the snow. |
Tim's reindeer was die cut from mat board, colored with a Tombo watercolor marker, dark brown, then a layer of Frayed Burlap crackle medium, then Distress walnut stain rubbed over it when it was dry and then buffed. Added a red nose with 3D fabric paint and a black eye with Enamel Accents. I did cut the Sizzix Frame Back Ornate #3 twice from white cardstock. Sponged Distress Aged Mahogany heavily on the back piece and cut that one in half to create a shadow type border. Then I sponged mahogany on the front piece, stamped the quote with black, stamped the snowflakes with Toffee and and embossed with Queen's Gold. Some of the gold embossed onto the 2nd layer which gave a nice glitz to that piece. Layered them to the card and added the red rhinestones. |
