I have a friend who did some Resin application over a stamped image and I really liked the results. I've had the resin products for quite a while, thinking I would try it "eventually". Never happened... So I finally gave it a try and it was easier than I thought. I did several of this image (Magenta #C95198 2 pc set) on mat board. This is the only one I colored. The others were done with black stamp pad and embossed with black. I also colored the edges with a Zig black writer. I left it for about 14 hours and it was nice and dry. PS with the left over resin, I just put nice sized blobs on my silicon mat for future use on top of words or something.

The main card is a magenta toned purple textured cardstock. Then a layer of white cardstock which I stencilled using Pebbles Pearlescent chalks in purples, pinks and blue tones and used a Joy Crafts stencil #6001-0019 (2/pk set). I just lined up the stencil to create a border, then trimmed down as necessary. The diamond shaped inset is one of my latest Cuttlebug folders from the Everyday Bunch set called "Window Panes". I ran it through the Cuttlebug and then brayered the high points with Perfect Medium and thermal embossed with a mix of clear & Queen's Gold. Then mounted my resin artwork with pop dots, then to the card. I added the purple mesh, spraying the back with heavy duty spray adhesive (have to admit, it doesn't stick that well). Rubber stamped the quote (Quietfire Design), with Versafine "Imperial Purple", and clear embossed, colored the cardstock with the chalks  then cut with a Spellbinders oval. Die cut the Fancy Tags, and thermal embossed with Queen's Gold, cut the scroll section off and adhered it to the back of my oval. Adhered this with Glossy Accents, hopefully to hold down the tag and mesh.
