This weeks theme is "Stitching". I've been wanting to do a pierced stitched design for ages. So now was the opportunity. I drew a butterfly and punched in my holes with my awl on dark blue cardstock, and then sewed my design with variegated metallic thread. Added some quilled details for the body and antennae.

Rubber stamped the Queen Anne's Lace (Old Island Rubber Stamps #578C) with Perfect Medium pad and white detail embossing powder. Then added the quilled version next to it using an off white quilling paper and tight coils for the florets. Rubber stamped the sentiment "Thinking of You" (Quietfrie Design) using the same pad and Queen's Gold embossing powder. Mounted all this to a heavily textured off white mulberry type paper and then onto my main white card
