This week's Created By Hand challenge is Beads & Things.

ID: Beads - Snowflakes #1

The background is from my scrap heap - a purple toned Twinkles H2o's sprayed on black cardstock.

I rubber stamped the Script Snowflake design and the word "Snowflakes", which is only part of the quote, with Perfect Medium and white embossed them. Used a decorative edged scissor to trim down my cardstock.

I punched out the snowflake border (EK Success) from some pink pearlized quilling paper, mitred the corners and adhered it to the card with double sided tape. Sprinkled on Ritz Glitter micro fine glitter "Stardust" into all the open areas. Added half pearls in a purple tone and crystal teardrops.

For this card I punched out the snowflakes with Paper Shapers various sized snowflake punches and one Martha Stewart punch on black textured cardstock. Backed it with some double sided tape and sprinkled Ritz Glitter micro fine glitter "Warm Highlights". Rubber stamped the small snowflakes and the quote (which I altered by separating the word "snowflakes"), with the perfect medium stamp pad and white embossing them. Added various sizes of half pearls. Mounted this to a white card.
