I needed a card for my cousin's birthday coming up in March so I figured I better get to it.

The striped and mottled alcohol ink backgrounds were made for our recent Guild Galleria. I cut out a strip of both and ran the striped one through my Cuttlebug with the Birthday embossing folder. Mounted them onto a red Bazzill Monochromatic cardstock. The flower is the same type I made last week from the AM Stamps website (tea bag folded origami flower by Jen Lowe). Added some gold glitter along the edges and a salmon colored small floral brad.

I wrote Rita's name using the bullet end of a Zig marker and then embellished with soufflé pens and some gold and silver gel pens. Then mounted this to a bright yellow cardstock. Thought it was real bright and happy feeling.
