ID: Walnut - Dream #2

I punched out purple stars and thermal embossed the letters for the word "DREAM" with gold embossing powder (1 letter per star). Added a medium sized pewter star in the upper left corner. Mounted it onto purple cardstock.

How I made the Background: (this is the same for the next 6 ATC's
I started with a large sheet of Arches Text wove paper. Used a large chisel brush and walnut ink and wrote words all over the paper and at various angles (dream, believe, love, inspire et). When that was dry I used a wet brush to swish across the words so that things bled into each other. When that was dry, I turned the paper 90 degrees and wrote the words of the song "The Impossible Dream" using purple ink and a 1.5m Pentel Parallel Pen. When that was dry I sprayed it with workable fixative and wrote large words again with walnut ink, smushed some more and let that dry. I then used Dr martin's metallic inks in bronze and copper and wrote words using the ink dropper, and on very wet areas place a tissue and pressed down to remove some of the excess ink. My page was now ready to cut up into ATC rectangles.
