Peel Offs Els "Italic Love"  (January 2008)

There was a challenge put out by Els to create ATC's using her Peel Offs Designs. These are a couple of my creations.

I started out with white cardstock cut and folded gate style. The letters for the word "Love" are gold Peel Offs. Used the negative and positive portions of the Peel Off flowers and Pebbles "Pearlescent" decorator chalks for the fronts.

The heart is a punched out Sizzix heart from cream toned folio end sheets dusted with chalks, heart and the word Love stuck on and then a coat of Diamond Glaze. The heart is only stuck to the left side of the card and a tab was added to the heart to insert in a slit at the edge of the heart to keep the card closed.

  

Inside I used the same chalks. Added the Peel Off gold flowers cutting them to fit my design. Colored them in with Prisma colored pencils using the white to move and blend the color. The Corinthian Quote was done with Twinkles H20's and a script nib.

Quote: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. it is  not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 Corinthian 13:4-7

This heart is the same as above but attached on the right with the tab on the left. The flowers are done with the negative portions of the Peel Offs and using Colored pencils. I added an olive colored vine (which bled a bit because of the chalks) and added rhinestones in the centers of each flower. 

  

Inside I used the same chalks. Added the Peel Off gold flowers cutting them to fit my design. Colored them in with gel pens and moved it around with water. Rubber stamped the circle quote with gold stamp pad and gold embossing powder. Added the words using Twinkles H20's and a script nib.
