I got a really nice pin from a friend. She used friendly plastic and made a gift box pin with it. I have a TON of friendly plastic that has been sitting in my drawer for eons. SO I pulled it out and made a few for these ATC's. It's a challenge working with this stuff but once you get used to the do's & don'ts it's lots of fun..

I used a Mitchel nib and a blue/green gouache with gold powder floating on top for the word "Friendship" in a split Uncial style. The rest of the words was done with a Sanford Uniball gold gel pen on Full Spectrum black cardstock. I then mounted it to a copper metallic cardstock and adhered my friendly plastic gift using Golden's Extra Heavy Gel Medium. I then added one of my calligraphic word sentiments "Merry Christmas"

The second batch I made are Christmas ornaments. I like the way they turned out. A little practice went a long way... I used a Bazzell monochromatic cardstock in an off white. Hung the ornament with some red satin ribbon. Added the lettering with a red Sakura Stardust gel pen, then mounted them to a red cardstock.

NOTE: The  Peel Off on the these ATC's are one of my calligraphic word sentiments on the "Elizabeth Craft Design" labels. There are 12 styles available at the moment with a couple more to be released in February 2009. They come in four different colors (gold, silver, black, and white); "Thank You", "It's a Boy, It's a Girl", "You're Invited" Congratulations" "Happy Birthday, "Love", "Friends", "Thinking of You", "Xmas Seasonal", "Xmas" & Happy Anniversary" .
