I'm absolutely not into paper dolls, but I saw one of the paper dolls from the person that suggested the theme and I figured if I wanted a chance to get that one, I'd have to make some too. BIG GRIN and here they are.

I was just going through a craft book another friend loaned me, and there, right in front of me were some paper dolls. So I copied the pattern and started cutting and gluing and assembling. I'm content with the results, maybe not as elaborate as some, but for me, just right...

The first paper doll was done with Canson Mi-Tientes blue cardstock and white cardstock for the ruffles and stuff. I used copper mini eyelets (available from Quietfire Design) for the movable parts on all three dolls. Added the white dots on the hat with Ranger's Inkssentials white pen. The buttons on the first doll is done with a quickie glue pen and a beige flocking (fuzzy stuff). Pink Tombow for the cheeks. Mounted to light blue cardstock then onto a deeper bright blue.

Words: Okay... This is waaaay more work than I want to expend!

For both the second and third doll I used Sookwang double sided tape and adhered a scrapbook paper to some white cardstock prior to cutting out my shapes. Trimmed the 2nd one with lace and rickrack. Mounted to a light blue and then onto a bright red cardstock.

Words: Okay... Who had the bright idea of this theme? It's time to draw and wuarter them.

Third one was trimmed with metallic lace and Glitter Ritz micro fine glitter in green. Mounted to a weird green that I really  like and then onto a metallic dark green.

Words: Okay... So maybe we all need a little glitz in our lives!
