I went to a tea bag folding demo at Paper Pastimes and taught by Sharon Reinhart last week. Fabulous. She's such a good teacher.

So each of these teabag folded snowflakes are either made starting off with the basic triangle shape or square shape. The smaller snowflakes are 1.25" square and the larger white snowflakes are 1.75" square. The smaller ones are made from snowflake scrapbook paper - there's always an odd man out and that one is made from blue jean scrapbook paper.

The white snowflakes are a calligraphy practice pad paper and #8 is a coated semi glossy paper. All are detailed with a Squeeze n' Roll glue pen and Ritz micro fine glitter.

See bottom of page for more details...

The background is a paper napkin of various Xmas words (picked up at Superstore - a large food chain store in Calgary). I separated the layers and used the top one, adhered to white cardstock which I sprayed with permanent adhesive. I then scraped on some watery gesso with a credit card - real cheap brand. Let that dry, then painted on a mix of some Making Memories blue acrylic glaze paint, Perfect Pearls "Smoky Blue", & some cheap glazing liquid. Trimmed them down, layered them on to a dark blue metallic cardstock, stamped the sentiment (Quietfire Design) with Versafine Black Onyx. Finally adhered the layered snowflakes with a snowflake brad (white, baby blue, dark blue or gold)

Forgot to mention, there are two flat white background snowflakes (#5 & #8) that went through my Cuttlebug with the D'Vine Swirls folder and then high points brayered and embossed with either Queen's Gold or Kaleidoscope embossing powder.
