So Carole gave us a challenge to create only with Black & White - NOTHING ELSE... BIg Grin. So as you may know I recently got a Cricut personal cutting machine and put it through some paces. The lettering on the first 6 was designed by me, scanned, manipulated and then cut with the Cricut, some on double sided tape. There are 3 that use a hand cut faux stone stencil and colored with a sponging tool and Distress Black Soot. |

Well the White Beads image is really for the pits, but nothing I can do about it, It's done on white cardstock, Perfect Pearls - Perfect Pearls powder in the groves and then clear mini beads. I put the white cardstock through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss dots embossing folder. The next two use Ritz black micro fine glitter and various cool & warm Nuances micro glitter & perfect Pearls. The white cardstock also embossed either with the D'vine Swirls or theCircles & Dots embossing folders and a large faux clear rhinestone on one of them. PS the word spells "White" |

The first two use the same design word "Black". The first one is Ritz micro black glitter and cool nuances and a faux rhinestone in each corner. The second one is various Perfect Pearls and some warm & cool nuances glitter. Both black cardstocks were embossed either with the Swiss Dots or the Circle & Dots folders. The third one, the word "Beauty" was cut with the Cricut. Punched out the scalloped dot lace border on both sides of a piece of black shiny paper and added the Prima flowers with a black brad. The scalloped rectangles were done with one punch, folding the paper and punching without cutting into the folded area in both a black and a white paper, and then off set. |
