I just got this Martha Stewart deep edge border punch "Daisy" which I think is fantastic. It has so much potential beside it being a border punch.

So for the 1st ATC, I punched it to create the Daisy flower and cut one of them in half for the under layer.

The under layer daisies were thermal embossed with Winter Wonderland, layered onto some floral red gold Chiyogami paper, which was layered onto black cardstock.

The upper daisy was thermal embossed with White Gold. And the Asian character for Friend was cut with my Cricut, black pigment ink and then Holographic embossing powder. I also used 3D pop squares to raise it. Then I added this very large red rhinestone.

On this ATC I only punched out opposite sides to create the wings for the butterfly, leaving part of the cardstock still attached. I added the body with black and holographic embossing powder. The wings were thermal embossed with Winter Wonderland. I added the stamen for antenna. Sponged Distress Broken China & Peeled Paint. Rubber stamped the Asian character for Happiness (Sunday International "Kanji Stamp" set) with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed it. Layered it onto Asian Chiyogami floral paper, then onto a bright red cardstock.

For this one I punched the border on opposite sides, thermal embossed with Ranger's Distress Puffs embossing powder "Brown" and colored the border sections with Distress Worn Lipstick. Layered it onto a floral petal encased mulberry paper. Added the little flourishes at the bottom which were drop outs from an EK success border punch "Scroll & Heart". The beads are made with my bead roller that you all know I love using the cut off scraps from the Happiness ATC. I attached them with some variegated metallic thread. And finally I cut out the Asian character for Friend with my Cricut and embossed with Holographic embossing powder and attached it with a split ring..

The Fold Em templates are really nice, but way too big for ATCs, so I thought I'd manipulate and adjust them to fit my ATC using my Cricut. Worked just fine - plus I saved a ton of time with not having to cut them by hand. I ran the cut out cardstock through my Cuttlebug with the Asian Plum Blossom folder, thermal embossed the high points with Queen's Gold, sponged some Distress Worn Lipstick onto the back. When the design was completed I  backed it with Sookwang tape and added Glitter Ritz micro fine glitter Regal Red. I then cut the Asian character with my Cricut and embossed with Holographic.

This one uses a border design template, which I ran through the Cuttlebug, then brayered Distress Dusty Concord and clear embossed.  Colored with some purple toned Pan Pastels on the back, then backed the finished design with Sookwang tape and filled in the spaces with Glitter Ritz micro fine glitter "Purple". Mounted it to a purple cardstock. Cut the word "Love" with my Cricut, inked with purple stamp pad and thermal embossed with Plum Pearl.

This border design is a smaller version of the Love #1 and again cut with my Cricut. What a pleasure. Ran through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots, brayered the high points and thermal embossed with Queen's Gold. Sponged some Pan Pastels in a pink and purple tone onto the back. When the design was completed I  backed it with Sookwang tape and added Glitter Ritz micro fine glitter Rose.

The right hand section, the folder was brayered with pigment ink, run through the Cuttlebug then thermal embossed with the Queen's Gold. The Asian character and the word "love" both cut with the Cricut and thermal embossed, the character with holographic and the Love with Plum Pearl. Mounted to a magenta cardstock.

ID: Asian 10 - Friendly Plastic Heart Friend

I put a piece of packaging plastic over my iris design and started the building process using some Asian Chiyogami paper, marble paper, blue foil, and Swiss Dots gold embossed paper.

The main ATC is a cream toned cardstock run through the Cuttlebug with the Spellbinder's Flourishes embossing template.  I cut out the heart with my Cricut (Sizzix Tipsy Heart design). Then adhered the iris folded stuff to the back. I then layered a piece of thin mulberry paper to the back to make it look neat. Used a mini brad and hung a gold heart (both available from Quietfire Design) from the Heart's point. Cut out the Asian character for friend and thermal embossed it with Red Dragon. Mounted it to black cardstock with pop dots.

The background is an alcohol stripe treatment done on pearlized cream toned paper in browns, then run through the Cuttlebug with the Asian Mandarin Screen, high points brayered and thermal embossed with Queen's Gold. Layered onto a reddish brown cardstock.

The heart is Friendly Plastic (new batch which isn't brittle). The Asian character and the word Friend are both cut with my Cricut and thermal embossed, with black (Asian character) and Red Dragon (Friend). The word friend is also shadowed with a black cut out.

ID: Asian 10 - Cricut Corner No One (unavailable)

This heart was a paper lace design that I bought years ago, but was very fragile, so never wanted to use it. Then I scanned and manipulated it and cut it out with my Cricut on some cardstock covered with Sookwang tape. Did the removal of release paper technique and used Ritz Glitter Micro Fine glitter Stardust and Regal Red and Dark Gold. The Asian character and word Friend cut again with my Cricut, thermal embossed with holographic and the friend colored with gel pens. Layered onto a white metallic cardstock.

The corner is a free SVG image on SVG Cuts blog Which i cut out on black cardstock, backed with Sookwang tape and did a variegated technique with Ritz micro fine glitter. Cut the Asian character for Love with my Cricut, brayered the Swiss Dots folder with Perfect Medium, run through the Cuttlebug, thermal embossed with silver. The background piece of cardstock is done the same way. Rubber stamped the quote (Quietfire Design) and thermal embossed with Winter Wonderland. Layered onto the background cardstock.
