Over at ATC Monday TMTA the challenge this week is "In A Row" whatever that would be. My mind just went of in a zillion tangents, but I was able to tame it down to three... and made it into a triptych. But you never know, I just might make another set. |

I punched out the birds on a wire using one of my new Martha Stewart border punches #42-40022 on white cardstock, inked with Distress blue and embossed with a blue clear misc mix. Sponged the cherry blossom with the new Distress colors added some punched Sakura flowers also colored with Distress and sponged color around the edges, then mounted to a blue cardsotck. Wrote in my words with a Micron pen. Added some Ritz micro fine glitter in the centers of the flowers. |
Rubber stamped the brickwork (Cornish Heritage Farms) with Distress reds, misted the stamp and pressed down on white cardstock. Punched out my Lizards from some left over cardstock from my pears. Cut the leaves with my Cricut. Mounted it to a deep red cardstock. Words "Hiding in Plain Sight" |
Wrote my word "Pear Fect" with a 6.0 Parallel pen with black ink. Sponged Distress all over in various blues. Put a thick layer of Rock Candy Crackle and let dry. Sponged blue in the cracks. Mounted this to a baby blue cardstock. The pears were done with various Distress yellows, greens and purple/reds, sprinkled with water, dried and punched out with a Punch Bunch punch. Sponged a bit more color on the shadow edge and added a few freckles. |
