White glossy card stock. The background is tissue paper dotted with dye ink, spritzed with water and ironed onto the glossy card to transfer the wet ink (see Rubber Stamper Jan/Feb,2005 for more details). I made the background technique on a large piece of card stock and then cut out the sections I wanted. This particular section gave the impression of light beams. The heart is rubber stamped in red and wet embossed with clear opalescent. The words bordering the card are in silver gel pen.

Words: "let the light of your heart shine through"

White semi gloss card stock. The background is tissue paper dotted with dye ink, spritzed with water and ironed onto the semi gloss card to transfer the wet ink (see Rubber Stamper Jan/Feb,2005 for more details). I made the background technique on a large piece of card stock and then cut out the sections I wanted. This particular section gave the impression of flower petals. The heart is rubber stamped in red and wet embossed with clear opalescent. The words spring from the center of the flower done in pen using bleach and then overwritten with pearlescent pink ink.

Words: "from the heart's center the petals of love unfurl"

Red card stock. I used a Versa Mark ink pad and a Quietfire Rubber stamp, and stamped repeatedly on the diagonal.  I then took another Quietfire stamp and created a mold which I then used to make the heart out of "Sculpey" , painted it with pink pearlescent ink and rubbed on some silver metallic Rub On. I added some confetti metal "love" words in red, silver and pink.
