Embossed Elements #1 Series
For the first 2 ATCs, I used a "Scor-it" board which produces wonderful embossed lines. |

I used white cardstock scored an edge to edge border on
all four sides. Then scored a diamond shape in the center. Within the
diamond I wrote my quote using a .005 black micron pen. Mounted it onto
gold metallic cardstock.
Quote: How baseless is the mightiest earthly pride, the diamond is but charcoal purified. The lordliest pearl that decks a monarch's breast is but an insect's sepulcher at best. Ella Wheeler Willcox |
I used a Canson Mi-Tientes brown cardstock, and scored
several straight lines across the card vertically and horizontally with a
"Scor-it". With a stencil, I embossed a star and with my Sizzix
Punch paddle I punched out a star so you see the underlying cardstock
color. I edged that star with some blue glitter. I wrote my quote with a
.005 micron black pen. Mounted it onto dark blue cardstock.
Quote: you need chaos in your soul to give birth to a dancing star. Nietzsche |

I took another class with Lorraine Douglas in Sept 2006
and this "g" was one of the letters in the alphabet we learnt. I
loved it at once. I cut it out of plastic stencil material and glue it in
reverse onto a piece of foam board. I then embossed the letter (sorry hard
to see the edges). I wrote the rest of the word "enius" with a
pilot parallel pen and sepia ink in an Italic style. Added the quote with
the edge of the pen. added my diamond border then mounted it onto orange
cardstock.
