ATC A Month - Theme: Valentine or Color Copper (January 2008)

I recently used my Cuttlebug machine and Sizzlets alphabet die punch out a bunch of letters I need for another project. I'm looking at al the negative blanks and said, these would make a great background. So I used a wide strip of Terrific Tape (Quietfire Design) onto a piece of regular cardstock and stuck my blanks to it. I then poured glitter into the negative letters. Some I did with just copper, one I did with red and one I did with a combination of emerald and aqua. I then mounted these backgrounds to a black cardstock.

I punched out rectangles and frames from another Sizzix die set using scrapbook paper and black or red cardstock. Glued those to the main ATCs. The mixed a batch of Golden's Tar Gel with their Fluid Gold Iridescent and put it into a needle tipped bottle and used it as a writing implement. Created the hearts with this and when almost dry laid a piece of either gold or copper leaf on top. I didn't have any of Jones Tones Adhesive Glue, so this was my "instead of". Worked OK but will be ordering some of Jones glue.
