On
a piece of white cardstock, I painted some of the scallop shapes with Tombow
markers and diluted the colors with water. When dry I used Dreamweaver translucent and gold embossing
paste and a Dreamweaver wavy scalloped template, I applied the translucent over all the stencil then
skimmed the gold over some of the areas. The first layer of watercolors is
showing through some of the translucent areas. I made a paper casting of a face
and left it white. Added paper flowers and some paper leaves as well as a
diagonal row of holeless gold beads using soft gel medium as a glue. I thermal
embossed the words "Wood Gnome" with gold embossing powder. I mounted
it onto purple cardstock.
I love the way the face is hidden under the flowers and leaves.
